My favorite wee ones.....

So having so many cute little ones in my life made my wedding that much more special!  I decided white and ivory for the girls was the way to go.  My mother handmade the tutu's and the satin ivory bolero jackets. (Thank You MOM)!! This was not an easy task!  She worked so hard on them and they came out fantastic!  Complete with leotards and ballet shoes they were my little dancing princess's and dance they did! My little man Massimo did such a great job that day I was so PROUD!  He is a little shy at times but he really did the important job of holding the ring box!  I love these kiddos!! hugs to my daughter Isabelle, my niece Veronica, and of course my two favorite twins, Ariana and Massimo.hugs from Lizzie :)

The Shoooooooz
The details, I tried to keep simple, but unique and true to myself and vision.  All of my flowers were hand made from bits of coffee filters, wallpaper paste and formed in plastic easter eggs or halved plastic grapes.  I know who woulda thunk?!  But leave it to the creatives I have in my family to think this up.  I have to give my Godmother, Mary Euch, May, Carrie Ann (all her special names) the credit for this genius idea.  Like many things between us it started with a link and of course graduated to these flowers.  She is a MACHINE! She really ripped, glued, formed, and patiently waited for them to dry for months!  She made all the mini flowers for the guests gifts and also the vases filled with the bigger flowers.  I must say I LOVE HER, and THANK YOU for always always keeping me so near and dear to you.  It means soooo very much!  She and a group of her fabulous friends from New Jersey, (Patty, Polly and friends from New Mexico all kept the ideas and excitement going and helped out alot)  Thank you Ladies! Carrie also made pearls necklaces and earrings for all the ladies in my wedding party, both my mothers and grandmothers  and I.  What would I do without her?  She is an amazing woman.  I made garlands out of tea stained coffee filters and book pages, we had tons of tea lights, and everything was white and ivory.  Simple, clean, and crisp, just the way I envisioned it.  Now my aunt Mimi carried on a tradition in my family by making 100 rice roses for guests to throw after the ceremony! They were beautiful and I still have a few so that makes me even more happy!  Thank you Mimi that was a truly special surprise, love you!
Candy Baskets
The candy basket was an idea by my aunt Carrie and she had a friend design the wrappers.. so cool:)
My dress was the second one I tried on, but I knew it was the one.  You really do know when you put it on, trust me you just know.  It was an Oleg Cassini dress, it was so comfortable and light!  I made the right choice.  My shoes were from Lord and Taylor and I took them off and walked around barefoot, because lets face it, thats what i do! Okay break time for me I need to give my fingers a rest.. I'll post more pics later :)

And They Lived Happily Ever After...

Well talk about a busy day!  I met with my photographer, Daniel today.  We looked at the pictures from the wedding and started planning my wedding album.  I have to tell you that Dan is beyond anything ordinary, exceptional, or  a step above all the rest.  He has such a talent for capturing beautiful moments, whether it be a wedding, children, even landscapes.  I knew he was my photographer the minute he sat in my chair for a haircut.  I AM so grateful for that, because every time I flip though these shots i feel it in my heart.  I now have some of the most beautiful pictures to compliment my dreams that came true.  Thank you to Daniel and to his wife Stacey (the soon to be Rents), for letting me steal away some of his time!  Check out his web sites for some truly amazing pictures!

LET THEM EAT CAKE!

INSPIRATION
It is inspiration of all things seen that get the creative juices flowing.  This is how I  begin my creative process.  I do a "mash-up" of all the ideas, colours, and visuals and use it as a template for the future outcome.  You always need a road map, but me, I NEVER follow directions:)
